I''m in law enforcement and I own two of these now. I have one on my carry pistol (Glock 31) and one on my AR-15 rile. They are very bright..plenty for even my rifle at the distances I need it for. Great light!

The M6X is every thing the description says it is. I was surprised at the power of the light, it lit up my bedroom and living room like daylight! It lit up the neighbors backyard for a good 50 yards plus as well as the laser. I have yet to bore sight it, but that is happening tomorrow. It mounts and dismounts from my new XDM 9mm effortlessly. I have reccommended it to friends and range buddy''s. The price from The Gun Source was the best to be found, delivered on time and fully intact. Ralph

It is a good tool that I currently put on my XD.45 but I wish it had a little more elevation and windage adjustment capabilities.. but works well at 15-25yds.

Fellow Enthusiasts, Please understand that I am not in the military or law enforcement, so I have not been priviledged to handle the pinnacle state-of-the-science tools of the trade. I do feel that I write with a knowledge base far superior to the average citizen. After reading a product review on Policemag.com, I mounted the M6X in tandem with an Eotech 512 on my Kel-Tec PLR16. I am pleased to report that this compact combination of illuminator, laser sight, holographic sight, and 5.56mm firepower, makes one more than ready for any home defense situation. The Slide-Lock on the M6X mounts solidly to the Picatinny rail handguards of the PLR16. The M6X controls are simple and easily mastered for zero-light, touch-only deployment. For such a small unit, the intensity and range of illumination, in a dark room or on the moonless countryside, is frankly amazing. The laser is equally impressive. On a shaded target, the system has proven capable of 1" groups at 50 yds, from a rest, using M193 ball and the laser. In the hands of an experienced operator, repeated hits on small bottles of water at 50 ft, from the hip, are readily achieved. Besides the obvious advantages, I have found the M6X makes for one of the most fun set-ups in my collection. Other couch potatoes will understand... all I can say is, "Blam-Wow!" JDH

This was exactly what I was looking for, and is everything that is advertised. The light is bright, and works great with the laser. It slipped right on the my XD40 and looks great. A little bit of tweaking on the laser to get it sighted in properly, and now I can actually hit what I am aiming at, as I am a terrible shot with out it. I live way out in the woods with out electricity, and plenty of bears and mountain lyons, and other critters, so I needed to be able to have a firm hand on my gun without trying to hold a flash light too. Awesome product. Thanks XDPistols
