Reduced recoil and slight increase in muzzle weight makes the Glock 19 better balanced and more accurate shooting. Love the way the stainless steel barrel makes the gun look. 200 rounds with no jams or misfires. CDM Ann Arbor, MI

I installed ported barrels on both my Glock 19 and 30 and I feel the difference in recoil, esp with 203g hardball Ammo. Not as much reduction as a compensated gun, but much easier to work on and clean. I would reccomend the storm lake barrel as it is drop in with no mods needed and works well with the factory weapon. I cannot speak to long term durability as I have less than 100 rounds through each barrel, but being of Stainless steel, and a series of long field tests, I feel the barrel will be as long lasting as the original but had the advantage of lead nose reloads with a smaller power factor, esp with reduced power recoil springs. No sense having a gun you cannot aim or shoot repeatedly if you recovering from too much recoil!

So far so good on the new barrel. I''ve only put 150 rounds through it but it was all that I expected and ordered. I have nothing negative to say about it. It looks great.
