Somewhat dissapointed in design.Install needs a modification.
The screw holes in the thumb pad needs to be bigger to allow the screws to drop into the threads of the bar.
Went thru two kits. The first kit the screws got hung up in the thumb pad and the Allen tool stripped the heads. Broke one trying to back them out.
The second kit was almost the same way.
I took a #53 drill and drilled out the thumb pad holes bigger.
I still had problems with the cheap Allen tool.
Used a better quality one of my own.
To the Mfg. Credit he made good with the second kit.
Still, need to make these improvments

The tab that fits on the mag realease needs to be drilled out before attaching to the release. Otherwise the screws bind up and then it is impossible to assemble correctly or it looks like you used a hammer to put them on.
The price was right but the assembly was trouble.

I bought this product hoping for a quick, solid product install. It didn''t go as well as planned/anticipated. I also found that the drop-through holes in the mag release tab were not large enough and I also stripped out the hex head of both screws while installing mag release tab onto mag release body. I haven''t contacted the manufacturer for replacement kit or screws but I am hopeful for a successful repair like the other unfortunate fellow.

Once assembled the mag release worked somewhat ok. The threads on the screws are so fine they can easily become cross threaded. When the screws become tight you find out how cheap the allen wrench is, rounded off before thumb pad was even seated. I purchased two of these, one for my 1st Gen 17 and the other for my 3rd Gen 26. The 26 seems to work fine but the mags on the 17 do not seat correctly even after some fine tuning.

The parts are machined very well, and the fit and finish is excellent. But i have a concern about the tiny screws. The holes are extremely snug for those screws, which makes for a secure fit...but i BROKE one and had to order a replacement. I think they may be a bit too snug. On subsequent installations, i used cutting oil and worked them in slowly ]half turn in, quarter turn back, etc.[ and have had no problems.

Having short thumbs (and with no feeling in my right thumb) has made it very difficult for me to speed reload my Glock 22. This drastically affected my scores in advanced handgun shooting courses I have completed. After thoroughly researching the market for mag extensions I purchased the T.H.E magazine release (MRS100BLK) based on the very informative product video illustrating its functionality and ease of use. The original one that I purchased was the shape and material that I wanted. The screws did not fit or seat properly, so I returned it. I received a new one that was square instesd of the round one and a little rougher texture. It was plastic instesd of aluminum. I liked it well enough to keep it and use it. I paid $16.00 this one, but like the $45.00 one I had bought from you for another Glock better.

It''''s a good product. Makes the mag release almost as big as HK. After a few mags and constant fire...it''''s hard to find and or eject the clip with the stock button. First three things you replace when shooting your glock allot is mag and slide release and trigger.

This is a great little mod and it works well, but I wouldn''t recommend it for some concealed carry holsters. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck and the way its designed, it would often activate the extended mag release because it sticks out much further. So take that into consideration. Otherwise this is great for home defense or competitive shooting.

Product works great although it does stick out a bit more than I had expected. It is much better than the original Glock release. The only problem I had was that it did not come with any instructions for removing the existing magazine release. I found instructions on the Glock forum and then it was very simple to install.

Great mag release for those folks that have small hands. Works well and you do not have to reposition the weapon in your hand to work the release. Right handed shooters will love it, left handed shooters may find it a bit "in the way". Overall great add on for the Glock.

Love It! Love it! Love it! Let''s see....it took me less than 5 minutes to install and function check. I can drop my empty mag without having to move my weapon off target or loosing my sight picture. Tactically, EVERY Glock needs this installed!!! Next Glock I get will DEFINITELY have one. I have not noticed any interferrence with any of my holsters in drawing my weapon. Maybe a bit pricey, but tactically how much is that second worth when changing mags?

Worth the wait, was on back order for quite a while for my new Glock 22C. Very easy to install, you don''t need a gun smith to install this release on your gun. I love my Glock, and am obsessed with it now. I don''t have to adjust my hand position to release the mag any more. It is right next to my thumb, with positive pressure, making tactical reloads a breeze.
Two things Glock should offer on their hand guns is the extended mag release and extended slide release. Absolutely the best accessories I’ve put on a gun in my 30 year Law Enforcement carrier with 20 year on SRT team.

This extension is absolutely what I was needing and wanting. The swap was about a 2 minute job. Everything fits and looks like it came that way from the factory. I was unable to eject the magazine without shifting my grip using the factory Glock release. Now, dropping the mag is simple and my grip stays the same. The extension is not too long and I have not had any problems with accidental magazine releases.
