I put this in my old 19 works great. I have issues with my thumb. I broke it when I was younger and now it''s come back to haunt me. This solved my problem.

The part installed in about 30 seconds and, at first glance, didn''t look like much of a change. The difference when operated was amazing! Functions flawlessly and greatly improves the ease of operation of the slide during magazine changes.

Nice to have a bit more surface area -- does not stick out any more than stock; so it''s never in your way... amazed it took me so long to actually buy one. I''ll buy it again for my next glock.

This should be added to every Glock you own. Perfect drop in placement and made very well. The addition of this extended release makes the Glock a truly ergonmic tool. If you don''''t do any other upgrades to you Glock, BUY THIS !!!

This is a great addition to my G20. worked as it should after i ground the triangular piece of metal that seemed to get in the way of replacing the top disassembly pin. I ordered the wrong piece but made it work with just that grind job mentioned so gave it 3/5 starts for just that otherwise it would have been a 5/5.

Great product. I accidentally ordered this for my RTF2 that has more than 2 disassembly, but I just shaved off the top pin loop and it fit great. It was totally my fault for ordering the wrong one, but I am completely happy anyway.

Overall the extended slide release works well. There is a small "shark fin" apendage on the aftermarket part that doesen''t exist on the factory part, this fin had to be filed back slightly in order to allow the second frame pin to be installed. After the minor fitting it works excelently. As a matter of fact the fact that you can fit the part to your pistol allows for far less force be applied to the release.

I would not recommend or prefer a Glock for personal defense (or anything else really) without this part. And WITH this part there is NO other handgun that can match its value. It absolutely boggles the mind that Glock doesn't include this from the factory. The piece of metal that is on it from the factory is a slide LOCK, as it is damn near impossible to release without changing grip/focus. TopGlock took a full business week to get it out the door. (supply issues). But to be fair they have the best prices on the internet, and their customer service was excellent.

This is by far the best thing you can add to your glock. Ive installed 3 of them on my friends as well as my own glock. My only gripe, which is minor, I had to cut that little tooth off the top as it was hitting the upper pin and not letting me push is it in all the way to line up the lower pin holes. Worked like a dream after that though.

If you have a Glock, you need this. No if''s, ands, or buts!! Makes dropping the slide so much easier. NOTE: This particular part is for the older glocks. If you have a two pins in the trigger area, it will not fit!
