This is my favorite out of all my carry guns. Deadly accurate and carries lots of ammo. I added the G23 magazine with grip extender which gave me 13+1. I put the LaserMax on it and it is dead-on with no adjustment. Truglo FO night sights and the slide extender make this a most incredible gun. You can find loads of holsters. My favs are the desantis 086 and the Galco ankle glove. Easy to field strip and clean.

Glock 27 with 185grain
By Peacekeeper of the Nations

The 40sw has the same knockdown power in the 185gr as does the .45ACP in 185gr. There were tests conducted by FBI and during the penatration into th gel it penetrated further than the .45 185gr. With this is mind I choose the Model 27 and have extra rounds with .45 knockdown power. Plus rounds are cheaper to buy.

Glock 27

This is my first hand gun. I could not have gone wrong with a Glock. Being only 5'3" and 125lbs, its small, sub-compact size makes it perfect for my hand and even better to tuck under my shirt or in its pocket holster when I am out and about. Very mild crisp recoil. Even with the polymer frame, the pistol is still VERY well balanced. A+ I could not say more!

I love shooting the G27 I purchased through Glock World and it packs a lot better than the fullsize! In spite of the small frame it shoots nearly as well as my G17...! Even after transfer fees and shipping I payed less through Glock World than anything I could find in town--not to mention the 7.5% I was able to stiff my Uncle for...

THE best back-up/carry sub compact you can carry.
By Mystro
Review Date: 03/07/2008

This is the best and most powerfull sub compact gun you can carry. It is the size of its brother the Glock 26 (9mm) but can carry 10 40 S&W rounds. It feeds about any bullet weight. I recomend getting the factory Glock night sigts. You can also use ANY glock 40S&W magazine in it. It is a great gun for carry or home protection. With the hotter 40S&W loads it is now closer to the full power 10MM. This makes it great for a trail/back country gun.

I love this gun for CC

This is my CC weapon. You can''t go wrong with this gun. I added Pearce Grip extenders to my mags to give my little finger a place to be. Curling it under the mag just wasn''t comfortable to me. I will add night sites when the budget allows me to since 70 of all personal protection shots are night shots. Join the NRA and keep your 2nd amendment rights & remember never pull a gun in anger.

glock 27 trigger raw sore fingers

there is a fix to the raw trigger finger you get after shooting 50-100 rounds with the g27, first off order a g22 smooth trigger and install it youself ]10 min job[ then go shoot, what a diffrence in this sweet shooting g27. check it out you will be suprised. i carry my g27 for ccw and shoot it every other week 100-150 rounds no problem with sore fingers anymore.

I purchased this pistol after I sold my Sig P-250 because I wanted a shorter reset for a trigger and little smaller package. One of my friends allowed me to test drive his 27 and I fell in love with it. I went to the Tampa gun show and purchased my own and could not be any happier with this pistol. It is so much fun to shoot. Has some recoil but it is not bad at all. I love the 40 S&W cartridge and this allows me to have it in a small package. Don''t be afraid to get one 700 rounds not one malfunction at all!!!!!!!!

I just bought a brand new G27. All I can say is this gun is awesome. Shoots excellent and within 3 mags I was grouping good for 15-20 yrds, should get better with practice.
Best Sub Compact .040 cal. gun out there for the price! It can even be converted to a 9mm!

Love this thing!!! I just purchased this Glock a couple weeks ago and have taken it to the range a few times already. At 1st I was a bit hesitant after reading several reviews about it being too small in the hand, too much recoil, raw trigger fingers etc. etc. I must say, for me at least, NONE of these are an issue. As for the grip, i''m a pretty big guy with large hands, sure my pinky has nothing to grab, but I curl it under the grip for support and it feels perfectly comfortable. I feel recoil is minimal at best and as for raw trigger finger, i''ve put 200 rounds straight thru it and no problem. Accuracy is another major + on this. I had tested the Glock 27 versus the S&W Airweight 642. With the glock i was 9/9 on the target at about 30 feet. With the S&W I would be 2 maybe 3 at besst outta 5. All that put together sealed my decision to go with the Glock and i couldn''t be happier with my decision!!!

First, Kudos to Glockworld: GREAT, FAST service!! Now to the pistol.I give this pistol a 4.7 on a scale to 5: so I rounded up! This pistol is VERY accurate: if it doesn''t shoot fist size groups or smaller at 30 feet, it''s technique, not hardware. I''ve pumped a couple hundred rounds out of mine in two sessions: not a single hick-up of ANY kind. I put the Hogue Handal rubber grip because frankly, the hard polymer grip is both slick, and with the checkering on the polymer grip, the recoil punishing without it. Grip makes a world of difference, just requires a little trimming. What does it lose the .3 of a point for you ask? The drop safety on the trigger does not compress flush with the "trigger proper" when the trigger is fully pulled. What this means is that there is a thin, hard polymer ridge that your finger absorbs with every trigger pull and every recoil. After 100 rounds my finger is both raw and numb. I also bought a snap cap to do extended dry fire sessions as should everyone wanting to master this wonderful piece. A couple hundred dry firings with the snap cap over the weekend and your finger WILL be sore. I''m sure some minor, careful adjustments can be made, and I''m told this is certainly not a nuance of this model: it''s just the Glock trigger. It doesn''t spoil the product, it''s just a thing.
You want a fantastic shooting sub compact (not a pocket pistol), don''t purchase anything till you''ve given this a try at a shooting range that rents pistols out. Enjoy!

I have my Glock 27 ]40s&w[ and I carry it every day, and everywhere I go. It is carried in an IWB holster, which I carry toward the front of my belly. I have owned this weapon for more then 15 years and so far nothing has broken or caused me any problems, although I carry an assortment of parts just in case. Mr.Glock designed an outstanding weapon when made these pistols!

Before I bought this pistol I rented one at the range. The 5.5# trigger is a bit much and since my G17 had the 3.5# I matched the G27 with one. The first time I shot my pistol my trigger finger blistered from the recoil. Getting either grip extentions or G23 mags ]with spacer[ is highly recommended and it did help keep a grip on this kicker. Still, I can only run a 50rd box through the gun before my trigger finger wears out. Changing to the Wolf 9mm barrel makes this shooter much nicer at the range.
