Tricked out, this is one fun gun to shoot. I've replaced the grooved trigger with a smooth face trigger, 3 1/2 lbs connector, reduced firing pin spring, everything has been highly polished inside, added a trigger stop, magazine well, extended mag release and slide stop, trijicon night sights. Sits in a Blackhawk CQC holster and I had two magazine holders specially for lightening fast mag changes. I've shot in quite a few competitions (formal and informal) and this gun takes the prize home almost every time. As long as I do my job, this tricked out G23 is a tack driver. I no longer carry it for duty or off-duty because of all the modifications, but it's a money earner at the range making it my all time favorite Glock.

I have to say I really like this gun. It is really fun to shoot and is very versatile; it works as a Concealed Carry, Home Defense (I use federal jhp's for that =] ), and just plain shooting gun. The rounds, in my area, cost between a 9mm and a .45. The .40 SW sits right in the middle of the two rounds as well, so this gun is a nice balance. I have put ~300 rounds through it so far (got it last month), and it works very reliably. Only 2 shells failed to eject properly, but I'll blame that on the cheap ammo. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Great weapon, I have shot over 1000 rounds through and have not had any jams. I've shot everything from the cheap stuff to hand loads and it has always preformed very well with no malfunctions. It's the perfect carry weapon.

I purchased this a while ago as my first gun. I have shot Glocks before and I love how smooth the trigger pull is. I have never had a malfunction/stoppage with it. For the size, it is very low weight and easy to carry. I have it with me all the time and often forget about it. I carry it in an IWB holster with just a t-shirt and light button up shirt over that, and you can''t even notice it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, beginner or advanced. Well worth the money. Certainly a quality, well designed weapon.

I resently bought a glock 23 shot 500 rounds out of it this weekend and have to say that i LOVE IT!! not one failure of any kind in the 500 rounds and the gun shoots better than my sig sauer P229 and is about half of the weight which is great for a ccw used to carry sig everywhere and now it just sits home. dont get me wrong a sig sauer is a great weapon but just to heavy for a in the waist band carry gun but the glock 23 is a perfect of firepower weight and accuracy great all around gun and the fact u can buy 2 of them for the price of a sig sauer or an H&K just makes it that much better can buy alot of ammo for the difference in price without sacificing qaulity, dependabilty and accuracy greav gun i would recommend it to anyone

I am 100% in love with this firearm. Very comfy in the hand and very manageable when firing. The grouping pattern on target is amazing. Breaking down the slide and cleaning is done very easily. This is actually my first pistol and feel it could be a last...unless of course 1 isn''t enough! Only real complaint is the 10 round magazine. Would recommend a larger capacity magazine for range shooting. I will recommend this firearm to any of my family/friends!

I bought a Glock 23 a couple weeks ago for concealed carry & home use. I took my wife to the range to familiarize her ]And myself[ with it. She''s fired my other handguns. She''s not fond of any of them & just won''t use them. She loved the simplicity & size of the Glock 23. No decock, no safety to take off, no hammer to cock. She only let me fire 50 out of the 200 rounds that I took along. I finally have a gun that she''ll use in self defense, if she has to, & that alone is enough for me to give it 5 stars. Overall- Very good compromise in size between a full size & sub compact. It fits my hand, but is not too large for my wifes small hands. I use it with a Blackhawk CQC Serpa with active retention. Great combination. I love it!

AWESOME, RELIABLE WEAPON!!!!

I have owned Glock pistols for over 7 years. I own 2 Glock 27s, a Glock 22, a Glock 31, and my favorite, most reliable Glock to date is my Glock 27! I have spent 31 months in Iraq and 19 months in Afghanistan to date and have NEVER has my 27 fail me! I have literally dropped it in the mud, sand, dirt, and had other things on it and it has never failed. I have fired EASILY over 20,000 rounds through it and it still fires like a champ! It has always been properly maintained and grated well and I truly trust, AND HAVE DEPENDED ON, my life to it! I recently purchased a brand new Glock 23 to replace my first one, as it has some wear and tear and I wanted my wife ] who is frequent shooter and CCW holder[ to have her own reliable Glock. I would recommend this pistol to ANYONE that is looking for a reliable and cost effective weapon!

Nice, fired at least 5,000 rounds,no malfunctions. Great for cancellment and very accurate. Wished i never sold it. Will purchase another one soon. I also like the idea you can change the barrel to a .357 sig and you dont have to change the magazine. I reccomend the 40s&w and the .357 sig to every one. Should be ]10[ stars.
