I''m a police officer, and carry a sub-compact as a backup gun. This holster works wonderfully. Once, I had to foot chase a suspect down an alley and up a fire escape. My little Glock stayed right there on my leg the whole time. Great for concealed carry, too. I''ve worn this rig when off duty while golfing with my buddies. They never even knew it was there.

This holster is incredibly comfortable and the actual ankle band is very secure. I might never have thought of using neoprene, but the folks at Galco knew what they were doing--much better than the Fobus holster in my opinion. The leather conforms perfectly to the gun, even with a slide release extension on my Glock 26, and it stays nice and snug even when walking at a brisk pace or up/down stairs (which I do quite a bit). I would definitely recommend this holster.

I love my Galco ankle holster. Well made, comfortable and top quality materials. My Glock 27 is kind of fat but the AG286 hides it well with baggy pants. I often wear it all day in high heat and humidity and it performs very well.

The quality of this product is excellent thou difficult to enjoy lugging your Glock 26/ 27/ 33 around on your ankle.. The size and weight of these guns at the ankle along with a noticable bulge inside wide boot cut jeans makes it a second choice in my opinion. Remember, these model guns are full scale versions in a sub compact frame and are twice that of micro version guns.. I''d suggest using a belt holster. T. Adamo / New England, U.S.A.

I have a large calf and in order for it to wrap around I have to make it snug. Even then it''s still very comfortable, don''t even think about wearing it over a sock thought. Other than that couldn''t be happier.
