I like these targets for shooting my FN Herstal Scar 16s. At 100 yds. it adds somewhat of a challenge due to their smaller size. Using the sights on the rifle, I was able to get about an 8 inch pattern using Federal .223 rounds. The thickness also helps keep it in place on breezy days. I also like this target for my handguns at about 10-15 yds. Keep in mind they are only 10.5W X 12H
