I was going to give the Glock a 5 star, but changed it to a 4 star because of the trigger pull. The factory trigger pull is long and heavy. I am definately going to get the lighter trigger. Otherwise I loved the gun, right out of the box it shot nice tight groups, and never had a mis-feed. I shot 3 different types of ammo, Winchester hollow points, Winchester FMJ, and some cheap crap that the range over charged me for. The Glock ate it all up! With the new recoil spring set up, the muzzle flip and recoil was noticeably less, compared to my friends 40 cal that he brought along to the range. As far as the new grip, my hand did not even come close to bleeding making me think that the rumors of the new grip are just a bunch of Glock under enthusiasts trying to come up with something to make the Glock look bad. I even wear it IWB against the skin, and no pain or irritation from the new textured grip. Glock made the right decision including the additional back straps. My first impressions of previous versions of Glocks were a little lower because the frame never felt quite right. Now my Gen 4 feels great in my hand because I was able to adjust the size with the included back straps. This was my first Glock (thanks to Freegunstuff.com) and definately won''t be my last now that I have shot the Gen 4 Glock model 22! Thanks again Freegunstuff.com!

After a lot of shoping around and researching diffrent guns I finally decided on a Glock 22 4th Gen. I got it brand new from my local gun shop. Its the Blue tag special for military and Law enforcement guys so I got out the door well under 500.00. I only recomend this gun to Guys that have the training and dicipline to keep your finger off the trigger untill youve identified a threat. Ive been in the Army for almost 15 years and thats how we are Trained NO FINGER ON THE TRIGGER!!! Not sure how Cops are trainned but thats how we roll. The safety is built in the trigger. thats why im giving this speech. By far the best firing weapon ive ever fired!!!!!

Great side arm. Perfect for on duty, the hand grip is easy to make bigger or smaller. Shoots great right out of the case.

WELL FINNALY I HAVE RETURNED TO THE GLOCK FOLD.I JUST GOT A SWEET DEAL ON A GLOCK GEN4 G22.A USED ONE! THATS RIGHT A USED ONE AND I LIKE A LOT. IT ALSO CAME AT A GOOD TIME SINCE I JUST TOOK THE WISCONSIN WCCW INITIAL COURSE WHICH MEANS WHEN I NOVEMBER I CAN APPLY FOR MY CARRY CONCEAL PERMIT.IN THE MEANTIME I CAN PRACTICE AND BEGIN TO HONED BY SKILLS. BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN AND HANDLED I FIND MR. GLOCK''S PISTOL HAS IMPROVED VERY WELL.I WILL GIVE AN UPDATE ON THE GUNS RELIABILITY SOON.

Good , really good / shoots very accurate have XP 40 Springfield ,The XP is heavier and not as accurate / very pleased ! The Gen 4 Model 22 is the gun to have for personal protection & practice shooting !
