I bought this barrel for the extra case support over stock. I couldn''t feel any difference in support when I inserted a round into the chamber (while the barrel was out of the gun) over the stock barrel, but then again, I can''t feel the difference in recoil from a .38sp. over a .357mag either.
My brother assures me there is more support however and I haven''t noticed any case expansion.
The accuracy is great, the fit is great, I only wish it came in black to match my Glock.
I also wish they had a polygonal rifling version..
Anyway, 5 out of 5 stars. I love it.

I installed the barrel no problem headache free,and it shot great at 100 yards, and 200 yards it was withing 6 inches consistantly of the target I was shooting at..great barrel price is the best..

Installed the barrel no fiting no headache..shot the barrel at 100 yards at a balloon and 200 yards at a bowling pin off hand...I was close enough to the bowlingpin for my satisfaction.I will be shooting a whitetail this season, great barrel great price..
