Purchased to sight in my WW2 M1 carbine. Works very well and I recommend it for ease of use, as well as one of the only manufacturers to make one for the 30 cal carbine. Only negative is it could use a specific on-off switch (twist on-off?) instead of having to remove the 4 very small batteries.
