Helps with recoil, depending on the load used. Lighter loads didn''t show much reduction, hotter loads had more reduction. Another issue is powder residue covering the dot of the front sight. If your ammo doesn''t have low flash powder expect a light show when you shoot, especially with hotter ammo. Accuracy is about the same as the factory barrel. Gives you the option of using lead bullets. Initially there were a few failures to feed while the barrel broke in, but after a couple hundred rounds it runs smoothly.

Drop in fit. It was a bit sticky for the first 200 or so rounds. At times, the slide would only travel half way after inserting a fresh magazine. Feeding issue due to being new. It has now been perfect after another 200 or so rounds. It has rapid fired 3 magazines in quick succession and shows no feed issues when super hot. Accuracy? Terrific. It has much less recoil. Very much like my G26. I''m extremly happy. My only wish is that it would be in black finish so my shooting buddies won''t notice I have a ported barrel.
