Good product for reducing muzzle jump due to its muzzle mass. The hardness is less than that of the barrel and/or disassembly lever. After several hundred rounds, I have noticed some impact indentations developing on the perimeter. The main spring retaining screw will corrode if not oiled. It should be made from a high grade stainless steel, maybe even A286. Notwithstanding the above, I still have one in each Glock I operate.

This guide rod has made a big difference in the recoil of the slide when rapid firing. It''s a great benefit to have because it adds weight to the front of the gun. I used this tungsten rod along with a ISMI flat wire recoil spring set a 22 pounds and it is now set up for the heavy powered 10mm ammo. DOUBLE TAP 10mm AMMO IS NUMBER 1!

IF I were to do it again I would order the non captured guide rod. It is tough to get the spring on and off so I feel like I blew it on this one.
